I run Cards by Simon from my home studio near Manchester, where I prepare, pack and dispatch all greeting card, postcard and cushion orders. I operate as a local service-area business, offering in-person delivery and consultancy within Greater Manchester, and ship nationwide.

Hi! I’m Simon, Founder of Wraptious and Cards by Simon, based near Manchester in the Peak District.

Since 2013, I’ve helped thousands of artists create and sell their own product ranges. Today I specialise in bespoke greeting cards, postcards and digitally printed cushions, offering a genuine personal service from artwork setup to fulfilment.

Unlike most printers, I offer a full artwork service at no extra cost, because I want to build long-term relationships, not add hidden charges. I prepare your artwork (and design card and postcard backs), and prepare and package your products in my home studio.

I offer local, in-person delivery within Greater Manchester, and post orders to customers elsewhere in the UK. I can also deliver direct to your trade customers, retail-ready. All fulfilment and handling is carried out from my home studio.

All card products are printed on sustainably sourced board, and fabric on OEKO-TEX certified cotton - values important to me. Orders have no minimums (just a single pack per design) and you can mix and match designs at the same price too. I manage all orders via emails, please contact me and I can help :)

    • GF Smiths 350gsm Accent Callisto Soft White from an FSC-certified supplier.

    • Two sizes: 15 × 15cm square (with a 155×155mm envelope) or 10.5 × 15cm rectangle (with a 114×162mm envelope).

    • Recycled kraft envelope.

    • Sustainably sourced.

    • Cello-wrapped, or ‘naked’ if you prefer.

  • I can post a pre-printed greeting card sample for free. Or if you’d like to see a sample with your artwork on, it’s £5 per design, with free shipping.

    • Can help with artwork such as cleaning or enhancing colours of your art files.

    • Can also tailor the card backs to suit your business, adding logos, text and/or barcodes.

  • From as little as 8 working days from order to dispatch three weeks (or quicker if you have an emergency!) depending on order volume, allowing you flexibility to seize opportunities faster.

  • If you require a template, please let me know and I can email it to you.

    I also operate a colour-managed workflow, with our printers regularly re-profiled to maintain accuracy and prevent colour drift. I accept CMYK and RGB files.

    • Proudly, all card is sourced from Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) approved suppliers, or recycled.

    • Envelopes are recycled kraft, and ‘naked’ option available.

    • I only use recycled card for boxes and card-based bubble wrap too.

    • Printing press is also powered by renewable energy

  • I can post a pre-printed postcard sample for free. Or if you’d like to see a sample with your artwork on, it’s £5 per design with free shipping.

    • Postcards can either be single-sided with a blank reverse, or double-sided with a traditional postcard backing (i.e. lines for address etc) plus any information, logos or barcodes you want to add.

Postcard Specs

    • Premium 275gm 100% Panama cotton cushion covers.

    • Bleached cotton for a cleaner, more consistent printing surface with less natural flecking.

    • Digitally printed using water-based reactive inks. This creates vibrant colours and a soft feel as the ink penetrates the fibres rather than sitting on the surface.

    • Approx 43 × 43cm, with a hidden zip. Zip is either black or white depending on the design - or you can request which you’d prefer.

    • Designed to withstand repeated washing.

    • Supplied without cushion inserts. Please ask if you’d like me to recommend any insert suppliers.

    • I can post a fabric swatch for free if you’d like to see the material.

    • If you’d like to check the quality before placing an order, I can supply a printed sample for £15, including delivery.

    • I can help prepare your artwork, including colour adjustments, cleaning up scans and photographs, removing backgrounds and ensuring files are ready to print.

    • Cushion orders are normally dispatched in 12 working days from the print run date. (See my printing schedule).

    • If you’re working to a deadline, please get in touch - I will always do m best to help.

    • If you require a cushion template, please let me know and I can email it to you.

    • I operate a colour-managed workflow, with our printers regularly re-profiled to maintain accuracy and prevent colour drift. I accept CMYK and RGB files.

    • Because cushions are printed onto natural cotton, colours may vary slightly from those seen on screen and between fabric batches.

    • Proudly printed on OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified cotton, using OEKO-TEX PASSPORT certified water-based reactive inks, independently tested for harmful substances.

    • Every cushion is printed and sewn in the Peaks before being packed and dispatched from my home in Marple.

    • As part of the reactive printing process, fabrics are washed to remove any unfixed dyes, with wastewater treated before entering the public water system.
