These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed with Cards by Simon. By placing an order, you agree to them.

Products
Cards by Simon produces custom-printed greeting cards:
Cards are currently sold in packs of 6 per design.
Sizes include 15x15cm, with additional sizes added from time to time.
Envelopes are included.
Cello bags are optional.
All products are made to order using artwork supplied by you.
Artwork, Copyright and Responsibility
You retain 100% copyright in your artwork.
By supplying artwork, you confirm that you own the rights to it.
You grant Cards by Simon permission to print the artwork solely to fulfil your order.
Cards by Simon reserves the right to refuse to print artwork that infringes copyright or is offensive or unlawful.
Cards by Simon is not responsible for issues caused by low-resolution files, incorrect artwork setup, or errors in the files you supply.
Proofs and Approval
Proofs are supplied by email unless the design has already been approved.
Printing will not begin until written approval is received.
Proofs are provided to check layout, text, positioning and overall appearance.
Colour note: Screens display colour differently from printed cards. Minor colour variation between screen and print is normal and not considered a fault. Approval of a proof confirms acceptance of the supplied artwork for print.
A reasonable number of revisions is included. Excessive revisions may be declined.
Print Runs and Lead Times
Print run dates and estimated dispatch dates are published on the website.
Dispatch dates are estimates, not guarantees.
Cards by Simon will make reasonable efforts to meet published schedules.
Lead times may be extended where necessary due to circumstances outside reasonable control.
Customers are advised not to wait until a print run deadline to place an order.
Pricing, Payment and VAT
Prices are shown in GBP.
Payment is required in full before production.
Invoices may occasionally be issued on agreed terms for regular customers.
Cards by Simon is not VAT registered, so VAT is not charged.
If a pricing error occurs, Cards by Simon reserves the right to cancel the order and issue a refund.
Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled up to the published print run deadline.
After this point, cards are sent to print and cannot be cancelled.
No artwork or setup fees are charged prior to printing.
Delivery
Orders are shipped using appropriate courier services, including Royal Mail and Evri.
UK and international shipping is available.
Delivery times are estimates and exclude customs delays.
Customers outside the UK are responsible for any import duties or local taxes.
Claims for damage or loss must be reported within 5 days of delivery, with photos of the packaging and contents.
Faults and Quality Standards
Cards by Simon will replace or refund cards that have:
Incorrect artwork printed.
Physical damage.
Clear and severe print defects.
The following are not considered faults:
Minor colour variation.
Differences between screen and print.
Small trimming or alignment tolerances.
Issues caused by the supplied artwork file.
Use of Printed Cards for Marketing
Cards by Simon may occasionally use incidental photographs of printed cards for operational or behind-the-scenes purposes, such as packing or print run photos, where designs are not individually featured or promoted. Any featured use of a specific design (for example, website features or newsletters highlighting an artist) will only be done with explicit permission.
Liability
Cards by Simon’s liability is limited to the value of the order supplied. Cards by Simon is not liable for indirect losses, including loss of profit or sales.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud or personal injury caused by negligence.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes
These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page.
